This delicious peach punch is so simple to make and based on the classic French 75 cocktail recipe. This sweet and aromatic party punch is perfect for get togethers!

This post is in collaboration with Barefoot Wine.

When we were in New Orleans, we stopped in Arnaud’s French 75 cocktail bar for a classic French 75. It was the first time I had the historic cocktail and I enjoyed sipping the classic drink, especially in a cozy, vintage atmosphere! It’s a cocktail made of lemon juice, champagne, gin and simple syrup. It’s a strong drink, so sipping is definitely a must! There’s something about a French 75 that takes you straight back to the roaring 20’s!

I wanted to give this timeless libation a modern twist, so I made it into a punch, because punches and parties go together so well! I added sweet, juicy aromas by using Barefoot Bubbly Peach Fusion. LOVED it!! The flavors blend together perfectly, creating a fun version of the classic French 75!

Peach Punch – An Easy Party Punch Recipe

This is the perfect punch if you’ve not got a lot of time on your hands! It’s such a quick and easy batch cocktail recipe, plus the sparkling wine really adds to the vibrancy! You only need to mix and serve from one bowl too, perfect!

Ice Ring For Punch

I also added an ice ring to the punch. Ice rings are so easy to make (just use a bundt pan to fill with water and ingredients!), and really you can toss in whatever you think looks pretty before you freeze overnight. From edible flowers, to orange slices, herbs or cinnamon sticks. You can choose the ice ring ingredients based on the season, theme or cocktail! For this ring, we added some cinnamon sticks, since they go well with peaches, edible flowers, a few berries and fruit slices! You can also add a little Peach Fusion into the ice ring as well, as long as it’s 3/4 water and 1/4 Bubbly, it will freeze!

Origins Of French 75

French 75 is a cocktail made from gin, Champagne, lemon juice, and sugar. It is also called a 75 Cocktail, or in French, simply a Soixante Quinze (Seventy Five). The drink dates to World War I, and an early form was created in 1915 at the New York Bar in Paris—later Harry’s New York Bar—by barman Harry MacElhone. Classy!
