What is Prosciutto?
Prosciutto is an Italian dry-cured ham made from pork legs. Typically the ham is cleaned, salted, and left for a few months. When it’s ready to be served, it’s thinly sliced.
Truffle oil is made by infusing truffles into oil, like olive or canola. It’s used as a finishing oil for culinary dishes like pizza, pasta, and more. It has the flavor and aromas of truffles and pairs well with many dishes.
There are several brands of truffle oil you can use. We really enjoy Truff, which is what we used in this recipe.
