One of our favorite versions of cheese and charcuterie board is this southern inspired board filled three types of sausage, pickled vegetables, BBQ sauce, pimento cheese and more!

After living in the south for a bit, there have been some meals that will stick with us forever! Dishes that we’ll make again and again, no matter where we live. For example, we had never had tomato pie and it’s SO GOOD. Another one is a southern cheese & charcuterie board.

Our neighbors are the ones who first introduced us to this version of a cheese board which was inspired by a famous bbq restaurant in Memphis. The flavors of the smoked sausage, cheese, olives and pickled vegetables is absolutely amazing and we knew we needed to share it here!

It’s different than a traditional charcuterie board as it’s filled with three types of seasoned, cured sausages and the flavors are inspired by the south, like pimento cheese dip, pickled vegetables and baked saltine crackers.

It’s a meal in itself and can serve a lot of people! This board is one of our favorite charcuterie boards to make now. The flavors are mouthwatering together and the board is perfect for a party.

Southern Charcuterie board

This truly is one of my favorite meals! It can feed a lot of people and is so satisfying. We love dipping each type of sausage into spicy mustard or trying different bbq sauces.

For fun, place out a few varieties of bbq sauce, like a delicious white bbq sauce and a few types of red.

Dipping the buttery, crispy saltine crackers into delicious pimento cheese is literally the best!
