What is Mezcal?

Mezcal is a Mexican distilled alcohol made form Agave. It has a very smoky flavor to it and it’s one of the most popular spirits in Mexica. You can read more about Mezcal here.

Ginger Syrups

There are several ginger syrups you can use to make a lemon mule. You can even make your own. Here are a few of our favorites. Buy one and keep it on hand when you make Moscow Mules.

  • Liber & Co. Fiery Ginger Syrup
  • Ginger People Ginger Syrup
  • Pink House Ginger Syrup

Ginger Beers

We like a very gingery Moscow Mule, so not only do we use ginger syrup to sweeten the cocktail, but we also use ginger beer to top it off for some fizz. The extra ginger flavor really adds to the cocktail.

Here are a few of our favorite ginger beers brands you can buy in the grocery store.

  • Fever-Tree Ginger Beer
  • Fentimans Ginger Beer
  • Q Ginger Beer
  • Crabbies Ginger Beer
  • Bundaberg Ginger Beer
