Comments

We’re very excited to introduce a new series called Sugar and Charm Classic Cocktails! There are so many amazing, classic cocktail recipes that are simple to make, but sometimes we’re too busy sharing the current trendy ones! A lot of these speakeasy style cocktail recipes have just a few ingredients, so they’re simple to make and many of them are what inspire today’s unique cocktail combinations and twists, like a Negroni Slushie, our Red Moon Over Manhattan, etc. So we’re going back to the classics with this series and sharing simple how-to videos and easy classic cocktail recipes!

First up is the Negroni, which is equal parts gin, Campari, sweet vermouth and an orange rind. Campari is an Italian aperitif and has a bittery sweet flavor to it and is also what gives the cocktail its vibrant red color! The Negroni was originally mixed up in Florence, Italy around 1919! A classic cocktail recipe that has become so popular in recent years they even dedicated a week to it!
