The Best Gluten Free Chocolate Fudge Brownies

These are the best gluten free chocolate fudge brownies! They’re made with olive oil, maple syrup and almond flour and taste just as good as any other fudge brownie, without the flour!

I will admit I’ve never been the biggest fan of healthy substitutes in desserts, unless I can’t tell and it taste just as good as the “real” thing. After testing and altering a few recipes for healthy brownies, I’m blown away at how incredibly easy and delicious these gluten free chocolate fudge brownies are! You guys, I couldn’t even tell their wasn’t flour and that they were made with olive oil. They were also GONE in about 15 minutes as everyone in my house, including our niece visiting from London, ate them up!

The dark chocolate and cocoa powder make the brownies rich in chocolate flavor. This recipe uses 74% dark chocolate and semi sweet chocolate along with a few tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder.

The brownies are sweetened with maple syrup and light brown sugar. I like the option of using maple syrup and a little brown sugar. You could also use coconut sugar instead of brown sugar if you wanted to make them even healthier!

Instead of flour we used almond flour. You can use almond flour or almond meal. The meal will add a little more texture, but the same delicious chocolate flavor.

This recipe is so easy you don’t ever even need to use a gluten free brownie mix!

Pure chocolate heaven!! If you make your own, remember to take a picture and share it with us on Instagram by tagging @sugarandcharm! We love to see what you make! Also, if you’re live gluten free checkout out how to host a gluten free birthday party!
