These are the best gluten-free brownies! They’re made with olive oil, maple syrup and almond flour and taste just as good as any other chocolate fudge brownie, without the flour!

I will admit I’ve never been the biggest fan of healthy substitutes in desserts unless I can’t tell and it tastes just as good as the “real” thing.

After testing and altering a few recipes for healthy brownies, I’m blown away at how incredibly easy and delicious these gluten-free chocolate fudge brownies are!

You guys, I couldn’t even tell there wasn’t flour and that they were made with olive oil. They were also GONE in about 15 minutes as everyone in my house, including our niece visiting from London, ate them up!

These are perfect for anyone who is gluten free and a great dessert for a gluten free birthday!

How To Make Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies

  • Melt the chocolate chopped in a medium saucepan on low, stirring constantly.
  • Whisk in oil, brown sugar and maple syrup.
  • Remove from heat and add eggs one at a time, whisking.
  • Add in baking soda and salt and flour.
  • Pour into an 8×8 pan and bake in 350 degrees for 15 mins

Recipe Tips

Use room temperature eggs. Cold eggs don’t mix as well and can make your batter denser. Let them sit out for about 30 minutes before baking.

Check your brownies early. Ovens and pans vary, so start checking them about five minutes before the recipe’s suggested bake time.

Most ovens run hot or cold. Even a 25-degree difference can affect how your brownies turn out, so an oven thermometer is always a good idea.

Know your bakeware. Brownies bake faster in metal pans and take longer in glass dishes, so adjust your timing accordingly.c
