If you’re looking for an easy way to add fall decor to your home, make these fall glass terrariums! They’re super simple to create and look beautiful on a coffee or dining table.

Of course, we love having fresh flowers in the house as much as possible. They instantly add color and bring nature indoors. However, you can also create your own terrariums that are great because they last forever!

There are so many wonderful flowers and plants you can add to the terrarium. You can find these items at your local craft store in the floral section. Choose fall colors to make a fall terrarium.

It’s a decorative glass jar with assorted flowers, succulents, gravel, and moss.

How do you make a glass terrarium?

Follow our steps to make a fall glass terrarium:

  1. Cut the floral foam to fit the bottom of the glass vase or bowl.
  2. Add sticky glue to the bottom of the foam if you want to secure it.
  3. Fill the bottom with moss, covering the floral foam.
  4. Cut the faux flowers to size and stick the stems in the foam.
  5. Continue creating your fall terrarium by adding flowers.

Tips for Creating Fall Glass Terrariums

There are different kinds of moss you can use too. Try to pick a variety to give color, texture, and depth to the glass terrarium.

For flowers, use a mix of dried and faux flowers and greens. Dried flowers add a realness to the terrarium and the faux is a good option for sturdiness and color variation.

At any craft store in the floral section, they will have many glass vases to choose from. Get a few options and different sizes to give height to your terrarium. Also, use glass jars that have different shapes to them. Some can have large openings and some smaller ones.
