I’m a total dip girl – give me something creamy and bold, and I’m all in. This easy blue cheese dip is my go-to for wings, veggies, and basically anything I can scoop it with (because that tiny restaurant cup? Never enough).

My Go-To 3-Ingredient Blue Cheese Dip

  • Just 3 ingredients: No fuss, no fancy steps, just stir and serve. It’s as easy as it gets.
  • Creamy with a kick: Rich, tangy, and full of that unmistakable blue cheese flavor.
  • Perfect with everything: Wings, veggies, burgers, fries—this is the dip you actually want to drown them in. Serve with buffalo wings, veggie sticks, burgers, or fries.

Quick Ingredient Notes

Mayonnaise: The base of the dip, providing a smooth and creamy texture with a slight tang that enhances the overall flavor.

Blue Cheese: The star ingredient, adding a bold, tangy, and slightly salty taste with delicious crumbles throughout the dip.

Cream Cheese: Gives the dip a thick, luscious consistency while balancing the sharpness of the blue cheese with a touch of mild richness.

How to Make Blue Cheese Dip

  1. Crumble the blue cheese into a mixing bowl.
  2. Soften the cream cheese. You can leave it out or microwave for a few seconds.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise into the bowl with the crumbled blue cheese and mix with a fork until fully combined.
  4. While you’re mixing, press down with the fork to break up the blue cheese even more. Try to break it up into small pieces.

How to Store

To keep your blue cheese dip fresh and delicious, follow these simple storage tips:

Refrigerate: Store in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Stir Before Serving: The dip may thicken or separate slightly, so give it a quick stir before using.
Keep it Cold: If serving at a party, keep it on ice or refrigerated until ready to eat.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  • In a bowl, crumble the blue cheese into small pieces.
  • Make sure cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing.
  • Add the cream cheese and mayonnaise in the bowl with the blue cheese and mix together with a fork until fully combined.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper, if needed.

Notes

  • Use High-Quality Blue Cheese: A good-quality, crumbly blue cheese (like Roquefort, Gorgonzola, or Stilton) will give the dip a bold, tangy flavor.
  • Let It Chill: For the best taste, refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Adjust the Texture: If you prefer a chunkier dip, leave some blue cheese crumbles intact. For a smoother consistency, blend or mash the cheese into the mixture.
