Easy deviled strawberries with whipped cheesecake.

These deviled strawberries have the tangy, sweet goodness of strawberries and the creamy delight of cheesecake—sounds irresistible, right? They are essentially strawberry halves topped with a whipped cheesecake mixture. They’re the best when the juiciest strawberries are available during peak strawberry season.

This strawberry recipe indulgently and refreshingly combines two of my beloved flavors- sweet strawberries and creamy cheesecake. The bite-sized nature of the strawberries makes them perfect for entertaining, offering guests a treat that is as easy to eat as delicious.

Plus, they look stunning on a dessert tray, adding a touch of elegance to any occasion, like Valentine’s Day, baby showers, 4th of July, tea parties, or Mother’s Day!

Recipe Tips and Variations

There are plenty of ways to make this easy strawberry dessert your own:

  • Large Strawberries: I tested this, and I like using large ripe strawberries because they are more to eat and look prettier!
  • Flavorful Fillings: Add different flavors to the cream cheese mixture. A touch of lemon zest or a teaspoon of cocoa powder can add a delightful twist.
  • Toppings Galore: To add texture and flavor, garnish with crushed graham crackers, drizzled chocolate, or even a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
  • Substitutes: Substitute the cream cheese with Greek yogurt or sour cream for a lighter version. If you’re looking for more decadence, try a mascarpone filling.
  • Whipped Cheesecake: If you have leftover cheesecake filling, pipe it into small glasses and serve with a strawberry. This whipped cheesecake is incredible on its own.
  • Chocolate-Deviled Strawberries: Add unsweetened cocoa powder to make a chocolate filling.

Storage Tips

One thing to remember is that deviled strawberries are best enjoyed fresh. They should be consumed within 8 hours of preparation, as the strawberries can become mushy and the filling less stable over time.

If you need to store them, place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator, but note that they won’t keep their optimal texture for long.
