Happy 4th of July! So it wouldn’t be an American celebration without some spiked red, white & blue jello shots, right?! This 4th of July jello shot recipe can be made ahead of time so you’re party ready!

To be even more patriotic, we’ve made them star-shaped! These 4th of July Jello shots are really no joke when it comes to the alcohol content, so beware and tread lightly or you’ll be on your bumpkin.

If you’re hosting a 4th of July party or even attending one, these are perfect to make!

How to This Make 4th of July Jello Shot Recipe

Ingredients

  • Vodka
  • Water
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Knox® Unflavored Gelatin
  • Berry Blue Flavored Jell-O® Gelatin
  • Strawberry or Cherry Flavored Jell-O® Gelatin

Directions

Blue Jello

  • Pour 1 cup of vodka into a bowl or container. Sprinkle 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin over the vodka. Let it stand for about 1 minute. Add berry blue flavored Jello and pour in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until the gelatin completely dissolves.
  • Pour the blue Jello into a lightly oiled star mold and place it in the refrigerator. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes or until the gelatin is firm enough to add the next layer.

White Jello

  • Pour 1 cup of vodka into a bowl or container. Sprinkle 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin over the vodka. Let it stand for about 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir until the gelatin completely dissolves. Pour the sweetened condensed milk and stir well.
  • Pour the white Jello on top of the blue jello. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes or until the gelatin is firm enough to add the red layer.

Red Jello

  • Pour 1 cup of vodka into a bowl or container. Sprinkle 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin over the vodka. Let it stand for about 1 minute. Add strawberry flavored Jello and pour 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until the gelatin completely dissolves.
  • Pour the red Jello on top of the white Jello. Refrigerate for about half an hour or until the gelatin is firm.

Ingredients 

  • 3 Cups of vodka
  • 3 Cups of boiling water
  • 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 envelopes of Knox® Unflavored Gelatin
  • 3 oz. Berry Blue Flavored Jell-O® Gelatin
  • 3 oz. Strawberry or Cherry Flavored Jell-O® Gelatin

Instructions

Stars

  • Using a small star cookie cutter, press into the layred jello to create star shapes.
