Tequila – Use a Blanco tequila for this recipe. It goes well with coconut.
Lime Juice – Always use fresh squeezed.
Real Coconut Puree – We use Coco Real Cream for most of our coconut cocktail recipes.
Cinnamon and Sugar – This is sprinkled over the drink and adds so much flavor and spice. Cinnamon pairs nicely with coconut.
How to Make a Coconut Margarita
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top. Sip and enjoy.
Add everything to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake for 30 seconds—really give it a good shake!
Strain over a big ice cube.
Recipe Tips & Variations
Use cream of coconut (not coconut cream!) for sweetness and texture.
Add shredded toasted coconut or lime zest on top.
Try a maraschino cherry or umbrella for a fun garnish.
Want it lighter? Add a splash of soda water.

Wow looks perfect for a signature cocktail at a dinner party. BUT…Can’t find the coconut puree. Do you have a brand or link? What kind of container does it come in? It’s not canned xoxo it milk or coconut cream? Is there sugar in it?
Simple and sounds so yummy! I wouldn’t have expected the lime juice with coconut but I would imagine it adds some freshness.
Also, gorgeous glasses! Where are they from?!
