There’s something about a champagne garden party that feels effortlessly charming, a little glamorous, and so much easier to host than you’d think. From bubbles in a silver bucket to wildflowers on the table, here’s everything I put together to make this one feel extra special!

Pin ItMy garden blooms like crazy every spring, and it honestly feels like a little gift, so I love any excuse to share it with the people I love.
This party is the definition of easy, nothing fussy, nothing complicated, just pretty flowers, bubbly in the bucket, and light bites that basically put themselves together.
I put on my favorite garden playlist, pour everyone a glass, and just soak up a beautiful afternoon with my girls. That’s really what entertaining is all about for me: slowing down and enjoying the moment.
If you love a themed gathering as much as I do, you’ll want to check out some of my other favorites, too, like my Italian Aperitivo party, Favorite Things party, Dried Floral party, dirty martini party, and lemon-themed gathering. There’s always a reason to celebrate!
Garden party Appetizers

For the food, I kept things light and pretty, the kind of bites that look beautiful on a table and let everyone graze happily between glasses of champagne.
- Caviar platter with all the classic accouterments
- Cheese platter served on a cake stand for a little extra height and charm
- Fresh fruit platter for some color and berries
- Individual charcuterie cups (so easy for guests to grab and mingle)
- Smoked salmon tea sandwiches
- Marinated olives Plus a few more light bites to round things out

Festive Spring Cocktails

No champagne garden party is complete without, well, the champagne! Here’s what I served to keep everyone’s glass full and happy.
- Poured a few different champagnes so guests could sip and compare their favorites.
- Mixed up my go-to champagne party punch (from my book!) that comes together with just a handful of ingredients and tastes way fancier than it is.
- Made a non-alcoholic version too, because a good host always has something bubbly for everyone.
You can also serve any of these amazing spring cocktails:
Garden Party Flowers

It’s not a garden party without stunning blooms! For this one, my florist arranged beautiful flowers right in a champagne bucket, and the bigger, the better.
They look absolutely stunning on the table surrounded by all the simple apps and little bites. This is how I make a gathering feel special: it’s all in the details.
Garden Party Activity

To make the afternoon feel a little extra special, I set up a sweet potting station so guests could get creative and take home a little piece of the party.
- You can do wildflower spring blooms (already bloomed) in pretty colors, ready to arrange into mini bouquets.
- Or a potting station stocked with little terracotta pots, soil, tools and flower seeds.
No-Fail Desserts

For dessert, I kept things sweet and simple with two of my favorites from my book, Entertaining with Charm: rosemary shortbread cookies and banana pudding trifles. They’re both easy to make ahead and feel extra special on a garden party table. If you want to mix it up, here are a few other pretty options that would be just as lovely:
These are the afternoons I’ll remember forever, the ones filled with bubbles, blooms, and belly laughs with my favorite people. Here’s to many more garden parties this season. Cheers!
