  • It’s a good balance to all the sugary Christmas treats.
  • Creating a fruit platter is a no-cook recipe, making it a straightforward dish to pull together for your party.

Fruits for a Christmas Fruit Platter

Red grapes, pomegranate, raspberries, dragonfruit, and strawberries on a table.

Berries: Red berries such as strawberries, raspberries, and cranberries

Tropical Fruit: Dragonfruit, green kiwi, or pineapples add a tropical flair to the platter, which is excellent in the winter.

Apple and Pears: Slice these and add a little lemon juice so they won’t brown.

Juicy Grapes: Green grapes or red grapes are great to add height and texture.

Citrus: Blood orange gives the platter some citrus and a beautiful color.

  5. Layer the red apples, pears, dragon fruit stars, and sugared cranberries in a circular shape on top of the grapes to create your wreath.
  6. Garnish with sprigs of mint or rosemary for a festive touch.

Pair it with a Fruit Dip

Caramel sauce, homemade fruit dip, or chocolate sauce are all great dipping options. Pair with Greek yogurt or honey for a sweet and tangy twist.

Eden’s Tip

Choose fresh, ripe, in-season fruit with vibrant colors.

Avoid bruised or overripe fruit that won’t hold up well.

Mix different shapes and sizes for visual interest.

Add greenery like mint or rosemary for a festive touch.

Arrange the fruit so it overlaps naturally for a full look.

Create fun holiday shapes like a wreath, tree, or star.

Combine red and green fruits for a classic Christmas color palette.

Use small cookie cutters to make stars or hearts from melons or dragonfruit.

Balance textures by mixing juicy fruits with firm ones like apples or pears.
