Our Thyme Tequila Lemonade Recipe is so incredibly easy to make and very refreshing. It’s similar to our lemonade margarita, which is SO good and simple! For this boozy lemonade cocktail, we infused fresh thyme into it and the thyme adds a refreshing touch to the lemonade.

Newman’s Own Virgin Lemonade is my favorite store-bought lemonade and is sold at most grocery stores.

I like it because it’s not too sweet, affordable and reminds me of old fashioned lemonade. And this isn’t sponsored in any way, just my opinion.

You can actually buy fresh-squeezed lemonade at some stores too, so you have a lot of options for what type of lemonade you can use for this recipe!

How To Make Thyme Tequila Spiked Lemonade

  • Add the lemonade, thyme, tequila and sliced lemons in a pitcher and stir.
  • Leave it in the fridge and let the thyme infuse.
  • When you’re ready to serve, add in the ice!

Thyme Cocktail

This spiked lemonade recipe really comes alive with the addition of Thyme. So definitely ‘thyme’ for cocktails!

Hilarious puns aside, thyme is a delicate herb that’s an ideal addition to many cocktails. A Mediterranean native and member of the Mint family, it has a wonderfully aromatic quality that makes Thyme cocktails truly special.

Thyme Tequila Spiked Lemonade – A Super Easy Cocktail!

This is a no fail cocktail, that most people will enjoy and can be made with store-bought lemonade or homemade, depending on how much time you want to put into it. Plus this recipe serves up to 6 people, perfect for gatherings! If it’s a bigger party going down then you can double, triple, quadruple up on the ingredients for a bigger batch!

What Alcohol Can I Use With Lemonade?

Lemonade goes with a few different spirits. You can use tequila, like we did in this recipe, and it adds a smokey, oaky, agave flavor to the cocktail.

You can also use vodka, which is pretty flavorless when mixed with lemonade, so if you don’t like the taste of alcohol, vodka is the best spirit to use when spiking lemonade.

Gin is also another alcohol that goes well with lemons. Gin adds a botanical flavor to the cocktail, which is really nice for spring.

Top Tips For Thyme Tequila Spiked Lemonade
