This non-alcoholic Halloween punch is fruity, fizzy, and one of my favorite drinks to serve at our Halloween parties. It’s made with pineapple, cranberry, pomegranate, sparkling apple cider, and ginger ale for a sweet-tart punch that both kids and adults can enjoy.

I’ve served this punch for years, usually in a big pumpkin punch bowl with gummy worms floating on top. It’s easy to make, looks so festive on a Halloween table, and you can mix the juices ahead of time so there’s almost nothing to do once the party starts.

Serve it for a kids’ Halloween party, Halloween movie night, or pumpkin carving party.

Here’s What You Need to Know

  • Completely non-alcoholic: It’s a festive Halloween drink everyone can enjoy.
  • Easy to make: Everything gets poured into a punch bowl and stirred together.
  • Make it ahead: Mix the juices ahead of time and add the ginger ale and sparkling cider just before serving.
  • Make it spooky: Gummy worms, an ice ring, or a Halloween punch bowl completely transform it.

Non-Alcoholic Halloween Punch Ingredients

Ingredients for non-alcoholic Halloween punch with pineapple and cranberry juice.

You only need a handful of easy-to-find ingredients to make this punch.

Pineapple Juice: Adds tropical sweetness and balances the tart cranberry and pomegranate juices. I use 100% pineapple juice.

Cranberry Juice: Use sweetened cranberry juice cocktail here. Unsweetened cranberry juice will make the punch much more tart.

Ginger Ale: Adds bubbles and a subtle ginger flavor. Make sure it’s well chilled before adding it to the punch.

Sparkling Apple Cider: I use Martinelli’s. It gives the punch another layer of apple flavor and lots of fizz.

Pomegranate Juice: Use unsweetened pomegranate juice. It adds tartness and helps give the punch its deep pink-red color.

Gummy Worms: Completely optional, but this is what makes it Halloween punch! I love floating them in the punch bowl and adding a few to the glasses.

How to Make Halloween Punch (Non-Alcoholic)

  1. Combine the juices: Pour 2 cups pineapple juice, 1 1/2 cups sweetened cranberry juice, and 1/2 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice into a large punch bowl and stir.
  2. Add the sparkling ingredients: Just before serving, pour in 1 liter ginger ale and 750 ml sparkling apple cider. Give everything a gentle stir so you don’t lose too much of the fizz.
  3. Keep it cold: Add plenty of ice or use a festive ice ring to keep the punch chilled.
  4. Make it spooky: Add 8 ounces gummy worms to the punch bowl. I like to save a few to garnish individual glasses, too.
  5. Serve: Ladle into glasses and serve right away while it’s cold and bubbly.

Eden’s Halloween Punch Tips

Start with cold ingredients: This is my biggest tip. Chill everything before making the punch so you don’t need as much ice, which can water it down.

Add the bubbles last: You can combine the pineapple, cranberry, and pomegranate juices ahead of time, but wait to add the ginger ale and sparkling cider until you’re ready to serve.

Keep extra ginger ale nearby: If the punch sits out for a while, a fresh splash brings some of the fizz back.

Spooky Ice Ideas for Halloween Punch

One of my favorite ways to make a simple punch feel special is with the ice. Here are a few easy ideas I’ve used for Halloween parties.

Halloween Ice Ring: My favorite option for a punch bowl. Freeze orange slices, berries, or other festive garnishes into an ice ring.

Frozen Juice Cubes: Freeze pineapple, cranberry, or pomegranate juice instead of water. They’ll keep the punch cold without diluting it as they melt.

Blue Ice Cubes: My naturally dyed blue ice cubes are fun if you want a more colorful, spooky look.

Frozen Fruit: Frozen blackberries or grapes are an easy option and look great floating in individual glasses.

Non-Alcoholic Halloween Punch FAQs

Can I make Halloween punch ahead of time?

Yes. Combine the pineapple, cranberry, and pomegranate juices up to a day ahead and keep them covered in the refrigerator. Add the ginger ale and sparkling apple cider just before serving so the punch stays fizzy.

How do I keep Halloween punch cold without watering it down?

Start with completely chilled ingredients and use an ice ring, frozen fruit, or ice cubes made from juice. You can also set the punch bowl inside a larger bowl filled with ice.

What should I serve Halloween punch in?

I love a big Halloween punch bowl because the punch becomes part of the party table. A black cauldron-style serving bowl is fun too, or use a large glass pitcher for a smaller gathering.

Is this Halloween punch good for kids?

Yes! This recipe contains no alcohol, so it’s a fun Halloween party drink for kids and adults. I usually add gummy worms to the punch bowl when I’m serving it at a kids’ party.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 1/2 cups cranberry juice , sweet
  • 1 liter ginger ale
  • 750 ml sparkling apple cider
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice, unsweetened
  • 8 ounces gummy worms

Instructions

  • Combine the juices: Pour the 2 cups pineapple juice, 1 1/2 cups cranberry juice, and 1/2 cup pomegranate juice into a large punch bowl and stir.
  • Add the bubbles: Just before serving, pour in 1 liter chilled ginger ale and 750 ml chilled sparkling apple cider. Stir gently to combine without losing too much of the fizz.
  • Keep it cold: Add ice to the punch bowl, or use a festive ice ring to keep the punch chilled without filling the bowl with ice.
  • Make it spooky: Add 8 ounces of gummy worms to the punch bowl. I like to save a few for garnishing the glasses, too.
  • Serve: Ladle the punch into glasses and serve right away while it's cold and bubbly.

Notes

Make Ahead: Combine the pineapple, cranberry, and pomegranate juices up to 24 hours ahead and keep them covered in the refrigerator. Wait to add the ginger ale and sparkling apple cider until just before serving so they stay fizzy.
Keep It Cold: Start with all of the ingredients well chilled. You can use regular ice, frozen juice cubes, or a festive ice ring.
Less Sweet: For a less-sweet punch, replace some of the ginger ale with chilled club soda.
Garnishes: Gummy worms are my favorite for Halloween, but you can also add orange slices, frozen blackberries, or other festive garnishes.
For a Smaller Batch: Use the 0.5x setting in the recipe card to cut all of the ingredients in half.
