Non-Alcoholic Halloween Punch Ingredients
Pineapple Juice – is a natural source of Vitamin C and antioxidants. It’s also a great source of fiber! It adds sweetness to this recipe. Use a good quality, pure pineapple juice.
Sweet Cranberry Juice – Rich in Vitamin C, manganese, and fiber. It’s also a good source of antioxidants. Cranberry juice adds sweetness and tartness to this punch recipe. Use sweetened cranberry juice. If you use unsweetened this punch will be too tart and sour!
Ginger Ale – A carbonated soft drink flavored with ginger and sweetened with sugar. It adds a ginger flavor and bubbles to the punch.
Sparkling Apple Cider – Made from apple juice. It adds sweetness and a sparkling flavor to the punch. We use Martinelli’s sparkling apple cider.
Unsweetened Pomegranate Juice – This gives the punch a nice color and adds a little tartness. Use unsweetened.
Gummy Worms – I add these in the punch bowl to give it a Halloween look! They’re also delicious to snack on.
How to Make Halloween Punch (Non-Alcoholic)
- Combine ingredients – In a large punch bowl (pumpkin shaped or a large cauldron) pour in all of the juices and ginger ale.
- Add ice – Fill the bowl with plenty of ice to keep it chilled.
- Decorate – Toss in gummy bears, candy eyeballs, or your favorite spooky garnishes.
- Serve & enjoy – Ladle into cups and serve immediately.
Recipe Tips & Variations
Keep it cold – Add plenty of ice or make a frozen ice ring for a spooky centerpiece that chills the punch.
Make ahead – Mix everything (except the soda) up to a day in advance, then store in the fridge. Add soda just before serving for the fizz.
Garnish playfully – Gummy worms, candy eyeballs, ghosts, or bat gummies make it extra festive.
Adult twist – Turn it into a cocktail by adding gin, vodka, or rum for a grown-up party.
Recipe Substitutes:
For less sweetness, cut back on pineapple juice or sparkling apple cider.
Use lemon-lime soda instead of ginger ale.
Swap pineapple juice for orange juice.
Try ginger soda in place of ginger ale. You can try Sprite too!
Choose sugar-free soda for a lighter version.
Use cherry juice instead of pomegranate juice.
Fun Ice Cubes Ideas for Punch
There are several options you can use for different ice cubes to make this virgin Halloween punch festive!
Dry Ice – This will give the punch a smoking look, which is always cool on Halloween night.
Blue Ice Cubes – Make naturally dyed blue ice cubes to give the punch a spooky lagoon feel.
Ice Ring – Ice rings look so beautiful in punch. Orange slices, gummy worms, and other fun items into a bundt pan and freeze.
Halloween Punch FAQ’s
Yes! Mix all of the juices up to 24 hours in advance and store in the fridge. Just wait to add the ginger ale (or club soda) until right before serving so it stays fizzy.
For parties, a classic Halloween punch bowl or even a big black cauldron works perfectly. For smaller gatherings, use a large pitcher and serve over ice.
Use more unsweetened juices (like pomegranate or cranberry) and cut back on the pineapple juice or sparkling apple cider. Adding club soda instead of ginger ale also balances sweetness.
Absolutely — this is a virgin Halloween punch perfect for kids, family gatherings, and school events. If you want to make an adult version, you can add vodka, gin, or rum.
To keep your punch cold without diluting the flavor, use frozen juice instead of water. For example, freeze pineapple juice, grape juice, or pomegranate juice in ice cube trays and add them to the bowl. You can also make a spooky ice ring by freezing juice with gummy worms, orange slices, or blackberries inside — it chills the punch and doubles as festive décor. Another option is to place your punch bowl inside a larger bowl filled with ice to keep it cool all night.
