Halloween Treat Station

What’s Halloween without treats? This holiday is all about dressing up with friends and family and digging into some festive Halloween desserts.

Create a treat station filled with ghost-themed treats! Guests can grab what they want throughout the evening.

Since the theme for this Halloween party is all about ghosts, we kept the treats ghost-themed. We added fun ghost desserts to the treat bar as well as flowers, candy, cobwebs, ghost garland, and little white pumpkins.

I use this bar cart often, and it’s been vital when entertaining. I’ve used it for our trick-or-treat, hot cocoa bar, and New Year’s Eve champagne bar!

Melt the candy melts and then add the melted mixture into a piping bag. Make sure it’s not super hot, just slightly warm and melted.

Place the eyes on the donuts and the mini pretzels.

Let the candy harden and that’s it!

Party Appetizers for a Ghost-Themed Halloween Party

Halloween is the perfect time to throw a spooky party filled with ghosts, ghouls, and creepy things. And what better way to celebrate than with some delicious and creative appetizers? From ghost-shaped fruit platters to savory ham and cheese sliders, these party appetizers are sure to be a hit at your ghost-themed Halloween party. So, let’s get started and conjure up some tasty treats!

Fruit Platter

No party is complete without a fruit platter, but we have to make it extra spooky for a ghost-themed Halloween party. Cutting fruits such as apples, oranges, kiwis, and strawberries into ghost shapes using cookie cutters. Arrange them on a platter and add some blueberries for the eyes. To create a graveyard scene, you can also serve the fruit with whipped cream or marshmallow fluff.

Ham and Cheese Sliders

These ham and cheese sliders are delicious and perfect for a Halloween party. They are always a hit at all of our parties! Serve with some spooky ketchup “blood” for dipping.

Cheese Platter

Another must-have for any party is a cheese platter. For a ghost-themed Halloween party, we suggest arranging different types of cheese in the shape of a ghost. Add some olives for eyes and serve with crackers or bread.

To make your cheese platter even more festive, you can add other spooky elements, such as dried fruits, nuts, and cured meats.

Caviar Platter

Consider serving a caviar platter at your party for a more upscale twist. Use black and red caviar to create a ghost shape on top of cream cheese or sour cream spread on crackers. Add some parsley for a stem and serve with lemon wedges on the side. This appetizer is delicious and perfect for a ghost-themed Halloween party.

Whipped Ricotta

For a savory dip, make whipped ricotta. It’s the perfect party appetizer! For dipping, serve with your choice of fruits, such as apples, pears, or grapes. You can also add some ghost-shaped chips to serve with it.

Halloween Ghost Themed Table Setting

Create a classic Halloween table setting using our tips! If you need a guide on setting the table we have that too.

Flowers

Flowers are key for creating the perfect table setting. For a ghost party, choose black and white flowers or all white flowers to make arrangements.

Use white vases and line them down the center of the table.

Table Runner and Table Cloths

Create texture and layers with table cloths and runners. If you want to cover the table, use a large white table cloth. Then add a table runner over the top in an off white color.

Dishes and Utensils

If possible, use black and white dishes and utensils. We mixed white plates with black bowls and black enamel cups.

For utensils, we uses black Fortessa and it was perfect! White and silver would look great too.

Using black paint, paint eyes and a mouth onto the pumpkin.

Let them dry before adding them to a table setting or dessert station.

Ghost Leaf Name Tags

Another super easy idea! Collect fall leaves and spray paint them white.

Then using a black Sharpie, draw eyes and a mouth to resemble a ghost.

Add your guests names on the leaf as well and use them as seating cards.

White lady cocktail with eye sprinkles.

Ghost of the White Lady Cocktail

A White Lady is a classic cocktail that was created in 1919! It’s perfect for a Halloween party and we gave it a spooky touch with little ghost eyes.

It’s simple to do too. Just whip up a White Lady cocktail and gently place two small sprinkle eyes over the top. This will only work when using an egg white in the recipe.

Serve it in a couple glass for a ghostly look.

Check out these Halloween cocktails too! If you want a non-alcoholic recipe, make some vanilla cream Italian sodas! They would be perfect for this party!

Ghost cupcakes with marshmallow fluff.

How to Make Ghost Cupcakes

Continuing the ghost theme with the cutest cupcakes. These are fun to make; use our homemade chocolate cupcake recipe or use a box. The Marshmallow fluff is the best part. It’s so good! It holds its shape well, so it won’t fall or lose its cute ghostly shape during the party.
