Apple Cider Spritz Ingredient Notes
Lillet Rose – You can use rose or Blanco for this recipe. This sweet liqueur pairs perfectly with apple juice and Prosecco.
Lemon Juice – Freshly squeezed lemon juice is always the best.
Apple Cider – You can find apple cider at most grocery stores.
Prosecco – Use any type of Prosecco for this recipe. It doesn’t need to be fancy. We love Riondo for this.
Bitters – A dash of bitters is what we use for this. We use lavender bitters that taste really good. You can use any bitters you have.
How to Make An Apple Cider Spritz
1. Fill a wine glass with ice.
2. Add a splash of Lillet Blanc, a squeeze of lemon juice, and some fresh apple cider.
3. Add a few drops of bitters.
4. Top it off with chilled Prosecco.
5. Give it a quick stir, garnish if you’d like, and enjoy every fall-filled sip!
Recipe Tips
One bottle of Prosecco goes a long way! This recipe uses about 3 ounces per drink, so you’ll get roughly 8 cocktails from one bottle.
Like it sweeter? Add a little extra Lillet Blanc for a smooth, floral sweetness.
Prefer it drier? Top it with a bit more Prosecco to balance the sweetness.
Boost the apple flavor by adding more apple cider—it makes the drink feel extra cozy and seasonal.
Make it lighter with a splash of club soda for a super refreshing spritz.
Frequently Asked Questions
A good alternative to Lillet is St. Germain or an Elderflower Liqueur. You can also use an apple liqueur for this recipe too.
You can use sparkling white wine if you don’t have Prosecco on hand. Prosecco is sweeter and we like it better for this drink as there is no additional sugar added. If you use white wine it will be less sweet.
