Blueberry Moscow Mules

I’ve made Moscow Mules several times and they’re always a hit and very refreshing. I also like that they’re extremely easy to make (we love simple around here!) and a multi-seasonal cocktail. Moscow Mules are a great drink to sip on while relaxing by the lake during the summer months and the ginger vibe makes it nice around the holidays too. While making them this time around, I wanted to add something different to the mix. I made an effortless blueberry syrup (with just a tablespoon of sugar) to pour over the Moscow Mule… and a Blueberry Moscow Mule was born! I loved the blueberry flavor and color it added to the cocktail. I also love the added antioxidants from the fresh blueberries!

  1. Pour the ginger beer, vodka and lime juice in a copper cup and stir.

  2. Add in the ice and then pour a little blueberry syrup on the top.

  3. Give it another stir and garnish with blueberries and a lime wedge.

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  1. Bring the ingredients to a boil for 5 minutes, then let it simmer for another 10 minutes until it thickens.

I’ve been craving a Moscow Mule for the longest time! I always have them at one of my favorite restaurants with their fresh oysters, but I’ll need to make your blueberry version from now on, and with so much fresh fruit this season, the possibilities are endless.

Oh this looks delightful. I typically like to stick to the original when it comes to mules though. Check out Grey Goose’s video tutorial if you want to stick to the standard
