These mummy cupcakes are super simple to make, as it’s just a regular chocolate cake and white frosting. They’re great a simple dessert for a kid’s Halloween party, a pumpkin carving party or a vintage Halloween gathering.
Kids and adults will gobble these up and love them!
Supplies This Make Mummy Cupcakes Recipe
You need a flat frosting tip (#45), a frosting bag, and Wilton monster eyes, and that’s it!
We used our very favorite chocolate cake recipe! It’s super moist and delicious. For the frosting, we actually used frosting from a can!
If you want to make your own frosting, try our buttercream recipe. It’s super creamy and flavorful.
Directions
Dab a small amount of frosting on the back of the eyes, then stick them on the cupcake.
Using a flat frosting tip, make lines across the cupcake, layering them and making different angles.
It will start to resemble a mummy! Don’t forget to leave those little eyes poking out!
