We use a basic formula for our jello shot recipe. It’s easy to make and even better to eat! These red, white and blue jello shots are served in a slanted shot glass from Crate and Barrel. Eat them with a spoon rather than “tossing” one back. It adds a little class and charm to the jello shot.

What Are Jello Shots?

These jiggly, tasty treats – sometimes called ‘jelly shots’ – are simply jelly spiked with alcohol. They are super fun and so easy to make. They can be created a few days in advance if needed. This recipe uses coconut rum for an alcoholic kick.

  • Blue Jello – Creates the blue layer. This can come in different flavors, so pick one you like!
